Bug: in Transaction Filter OR in processing CSV file intputs

I am extracting transactions into a CSV file for use in spreadsheet. The account I am exporting from is updated using CSV files downloaded from the bank. I am using Transaction Filter to find all transactions from 2023 & 2024. It finds all the transactions from 2023 but NONE from 2024. As a test I manually inserted a new transaction dated this month. Transaction Filter did find all transactions from 2023 and the one new one in 2024 that I had manually inserted. Thus there is something wrong in the 2024 transactions themselves that is preventing Transaction Filter from working properly. Happy to provide more in depth data.

Workaround. Use extract data extension. Option extract account registers (to csv).

yes work around is viable.  but there is something going wrong under the hood in MD -- probably some field being set incorrectly so the filter fails to select the record.  should be tracked down.

The filter is a tricky beast and has been plagued with numerous issues over the years. But simple filters work fine.

So what is the criteria you are using? Please send screenshot of the filter’s edit settings.

Firstly I'm confused.. The txns shown in the Txn Filter report do NOT appear in the register above? How can it be finding txns that are not in your register?

Second, what version of MD? You are not using 2024..?

Third, are you using tax dates?

What happens if you deselect the Cleared filter option?

What happens if you only select 2024?

I would suggest you backup and then try the 2024 version to see if it's fixed... You can always revert versions... ?

1,  all txns that appear in the filter ARE in the register ... just not in the screen shot i saved2.  latest MD ... 2024.2 (5118)3  not tax dates4. if i select only 2024 ... then no records selected.  i did 2023-2024 to prove that the filter did work and for previous records.==> conclusion: there is something in the transaction records that were downloaded fromCSV in the last 6 months that is stopping them from being selected.  MD need to examine their changes since 2024 started
