Toolbox not opening

Toolbox is not opening. No response when I click Extension > Toolbox.

There is no Toolbox update available but I have tried removing it and reinstalling anyway.

If I click one of the other Toolbox options (see attached), eg "Toolbox: Total Selected Transactions" I get an error response which mentions "Extension Loader seems to be missing" which sounds like it must be the problem. See Attached.

The same message mentions "must be on build 1904 onwards". Not sure if this refers to Moneydance build or Toolbox build. I am on MD preview build 5142 and Toolbox version 1065.

Machine is M1 MBA running Sonoma 14.6.1

   Per Stuart the developer...

   FYI - for 5142 onwards, you will have to install new extensions for any of mine (python) - all from my site (signed section)… The new versions are backwards compatible.

   Thanks Kevin. That worked. Now have Toolbox v1066 installed and it opens normally.

   Hopefully this is a temporary situation?

   For benefit of others, it was actually much easier to do this than I thought from my first glance at Stuart's page. Just download the Toolbox mxt file from the list of versions not hosted on InfiniteKind's site, then in MD > Manage extension > install from file and navigate to the download.

   You're welcome. I'm glad to hear that it worked. Thank you for reporting back with your results.

   Just to add a bit for others. Make sure to download the 'signed' version from the section labeled "VERY LATEST signed Versions...".

   I suppose this item in the changelog for b5142 is what this is all about:

   "* don't change extensions of user-selected filenames if the extension isn't in the acceptable list"

   Hi boreham,

   I think the term 'extensions' in that changelog item refers to filename extensions.
   e.g. moneydance.exe with .exe being the filename extension.

   Again, per Stuart...
   This is purely an internal change with regards to internal moneydance objects passed to python which required a one off change to my python extensions…

   And yes, this is temporary (in the sense of needing to go to Stuart's site) his new versions fixed an issue that arose by a change for 5142.

   Sean just needs to get them into the "approved extensions" area of MD, and then they will show up with Manage Extensions/Update Extensions ...
