Detailed reports
I want to be able to see all the splits, and run reports for a particular type of split - how do I do that?
for instance, let's pretend I'm an amateur mechanic and I want to see where my money goes on restoring cars - oil, body parts, paint supplies, buffing supplies - ad infinifum.
how do I get a detailed report that shows the contents of the splits? by category and sub-category? all I'm getting at the moment is grand totals for each purchase, and in order to see the splits I have to open up each individual entry, which is absurd - I want to see the details in a report, not line by line.
I can't see the point of splitting out costs if one can't see the details - please advise.

The first report that may suit you is the Income and Expense Detailed report. You can select what categories you want to included and see each line item in the report.
