Doesn't seem to download

I have tried to load the app on my PC multiple times. I reach the "finish" screen that tells me it's added and to use the icon to open it. No such icon exists. what am I missing? I am using windows. Help!

   Has the installed created a menu item for you to launch the software from?

   A response via email from an iPhone generally does not work, I suspect due to the way the email is structured.

   To answer your question no I don’t believe so. I finish the setup and there is no icon to open.

   Can you find Moneydance in the Programs folder?

   Yes it is in the programs folder under installed apps. From that folder the only option I can find is uninstall.

   If I search it from the start bar and click open it just installs it again.

   I believe you are using a Windows computer, so in order to install Moneydance 2024.2 (5172), you need to proceed as follow:

   Before downloading Moneydance 2024.2 (5172)from this page you should determine which installer is relevant to your operating system (Intel or Arm);

   • To check whether you're using a 64-bit Intel version of Windows or ARM, you should type in System Information in the search field of your Windows computer.

   Then download the file.

   • Click on Save File and rename it to Moneydance 2024.2 (5172), to make it more visible;

   • Wait for the file to download fully;

   • Click on the downward arrow on your Browser to view the download link;

   • double click on the installer to open the file and initiate the installation;

   • In the window that opens, welcome to the Moneydance Setup Wizard you should choose:

   • Yes, update the existing installation (this will overwrite the older version - if applicable)

   • Click "Next", allow the installation to complete and click "Finish".

   Finally, you should type 'Moneydance' in your Windows Search Field'. This will locate the program. Right click' on the Moneydance icon and choose 'Pin to Taskbar'. The icon will remain visible in your Taskbar, even when Moneydance is closed.
