I have entries for my "Gift Cards" account that go back to 2014. Only the entries starting 2024.01.01 are showing in the account window.

I can find the entries through the "filter" for the account (is that the proper word?). So entering "8.11" pulls up an entry I made for 2023.08.15.

I can also find the entries through the Find and Replace. So I can see 1877 transactions going back to 2014, when I started tracking my gift cards.

Using version 2024.2 (5172) on Windows 10.

Look at the top of the register itself make sure the filter is set to "All Transactions".

    Hi,

As dwg has suggested, you should check your accounts are sorted and filtered correctly. If they're not, some transactions will be hidden from view.

You'll find the steps to sort and filter your accounts in this article from the knowledge base.
Ensure the "All Transactions" filter is enabled at the top of the register.
Also, make sure the transactions are ordered as you'd expect i.e. date order.

    I shyly say "Of course".

A few months back, I played around with filtering the transactions to minimize scrolling around. I forgot in a "senior moment"...

Senior moments are getting all too common for a lot of us :)
