Can't get my account up to enter new transations
when I click on my account The page that opens up to 2019 and lists American express payments. As I scroll up it lists all expenses over the years in alphabetical order. ??? I want to get my current listings of recent transactions

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

It sounds like the register is not sorted by date.
For a simple sort click on the "Date" header, for more complex sorts right click on a transaction, select "Sort By" and choose the desired option.

Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.
When viewing the account register, you could simply click in the 'Date' column header. Click again to toggle between ascending and descending order. Alternatively, you should 'right click' (or press Ctrl and click) on any transaction to view the context menu then choose Choose Sort By > Date Entered. Close and restart Moneydance to retain the change.
