Upgrade
Already have a key from earlier purchase, but today hit with $25 fee for discounted upgrade after told number of "manual entries" was reached. Paid for unneeded upgrade and still blocked from Moneydance.

1. If key from earlier purchase was from 2022 or earlier, moving to 2024 would put you into demo mode, as your key wouldn't work with 2024. IF that is the case, that would be a needed upgrade. In paying for the upgrade, you should receive a new key (could take up to 24 hours to receive)
2. Entering the new key would move you to a valid 2024 license which would also be good for 2025, and you would also be unblocked.
3. If you publish the first 4-5 characters of your key from earlier purchase (DO NOT publish the entire key - this is a public forum!!!), like P1234, many here could tell you what years that key is valid (and is still valid) for. If your key is a 2023 or 2024 license, your assertion of an "unneeded upgrade" would be correct.

Also, what is the version you are currently using? i.e. 2024.4(5253)?
