Moneydance is repainting an account screen in weird ways at random times

After I select an account, the account's transactions are displayed. As I start working with those transactions (mostly categorizations) the screen starts repainting parts of itself inappropriately, displaying other parts of the screen in the wrong place. One predictable example is when moving the mouse past the topmost transaction into the menu area, the bottom-most part of the screen starts displaying part of the screen in another location. When I try to categorize and confirm transactions, the actual "confirm" button on the right side of the screen is duplicated, and it's not clear which of the duplicates is the actual button. Sometimes, if I'm familiar with a given screen layout, I can mouse over to the place where the button "should" be, and find it there, but at other times there's too much chaotic redrawing and refreshing of various parts of the screen to even do that.

Reproduce then grab help/show console and upload that here.

This sounds like a video display issue, I have heard of such things occasionally.

    Hi Brian,
We are sorry to hear about the problem you have encountered.

Would you be able to send us a copy of your Moneydance error logs? The logs should include information on what might be causing the issue.

You could navigate to Help->Console Window and click the arrow (at the bottom left). Select Copy to Clipboard and attach or paste the full content in your next reply.

    Alternatively, you should navigate to:

    Local Disk(C:)>Users>Your Name>.moneydance>errlog.txt

Finally you can copy the full content into your next reply here.

    Thank you
