Since comments are closed on discussion "Very slow after upgrade to Version 2024.2 (5172)" without any resolution, I am very frustrated by the same issue with 2024.4 (5253).

I restart my Windows 11 HP Envy laptop 17 daily. So the issue is with a fresh instance of Moneydance. For example, today I started Money dance, then downloaded bank statements and checked email. So it was running for some time before using it.

I do not intentionally sync and do not use any automated transactions. I prefer to have the software isolated on my laptop. So I am either entering transactions manually or using my reminders.

So today, while reconciling (balancing) an account, I had to add accrued interest. The date was already correct and I started typing "Int" which used to bring up the prior interest transaction in a flash so I could then tab and just fill in the new amount and press enter.
Now, it takes about a minute to bring it up.

Today, also, when catching up on reminders. I would click on Record Transaction and encounter the same delay.

Nothing else is running on my laptop except the chrome browser with Google Calendar and Gmail. Nothing.
I do not have this hesitation with any other application.
