The blue dot from downloaded transactions won't go away.

Do you know when you download transactions in quicken format from a financial institution? And then you make sure that the transactions you entered into moneydance matches and you merg them and then the blue dot changes from a solid blue dot to a circle with a line through it?

Well my problem is that I have no more solid blue dots in my accounts, however, the name of the account on the side panel still has a blue dot and I can not find a single transaction with a blue dot. They all have the blue circle with a line. How can I make that account name in the side panel get rid of the blue dot?

Thanks,
Marty

If the account has an unconfirmed transaction bar showing in the register try dragging it up and see if it shows any transactions there.

Thank you for the quick reply. I'm not sure I'm following what you're suggesting I do. But it sounds like you're trying to help me find which transaction was not confirmed. I have already went through all of the transactions in the account (numerous times), trying to find if even a single transaction is not confirmed, and I can not find any.

But I want to do what you're suggesting. Please, help me out with some terminology. What is an "unconfirmed transaction bar"? What do you mean by "the register"? And what do I "drag up"? Can you provide screen shots to show exactly what you mean?

    Thank you,
    Marty

Here is a picture showing a transaction register with a confirmed transaction and showing it has unconfirmed transactions.

    Hi Marty,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.

Firstly, you should ensure that the filter at the top of the register is set to "All".

Also, there is a button that toggles between "split" and "combined mode" at the top-right corner of the register, next to New Transaction.

If this is in split mode, then all unconfirmed transactions will be shown in a second register which appears below the regular register.

This can sometimes be collapsed, so that all it shows is a bar with a label that says "N unconfirmed transactions". If you see that bar, drag it up vertically and you'll see the unconfirmed transactions in that list.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

    Wooohoooo!!!

Thank you Maddy. It was that bottom toggle thing, next to New Transaction that had it show up immediately! It was just one transaction. Never knew about this and I may have just hit it once on accident.

    But hey - PROBLEM SOLVED!

    Thanks so much,
    Marty K
