Transactions not appearing in reports under new category
I have created a new category and transactions are not showing in reports under the new category

Which report are you seeing this issue in?
Could you attach screenshots in your reply showing some of these transactions in your register, plus the settings for the report in question? If you're not sure how to take a screenshot, please see http://www.take-a-screenshot.org/

Thanks for your reply.
I'm really sorry to have wasted your time, but Ive found out the answer. I
entered an income in under an expense category which balanced out exactly
to the expense I entered, so they both just cancelled out.
