Change bank account to credit card account

I have an account that does not work quite like my other credit accounts. It always pairs expenses to receipts which makes the value a small amount of either a positive or negative value. These “internal calculations” don’t appear in any other accounts. I surmise that perhaps it was initiated as a bank account rather than a credit account. So if my supposition is correct, can the bank account be turned into a credit account?

   The location in the account tree shows the account type. An account created as a bank account will always show under the Bank heading. So where does this account appear in the account tree?
