To have the prices of your securities tracked by Moneydance you will need to add and use the extensions that automatically update price information from Yahoo Finance. These extensions are the "stocks/forex quotes autosynchronizer" and "Yahoo stock quotes". They are used in concert, the former configuring how the latter is used. To add these extensions choose "extensions" from the menu bar and select the Add -> From the Internet options. There is a full faq on setting up investment accounts available here.

As for the Hewitt issue- the first thing I would suggest would be to reset the sync date for each account and re-download from those accounts. To reset the date, open the account, go to the Online Banking->Set up Online Banking menu item, and click the "Reset Sync" button. The initiate the download again and hopefully the older transactions will download into Moneydance. Do let me know how this goes, and if it's unsuccessful we'll look into other options. Most financial institutions only provide the past 45 to 90 days of transactions for OFX direct connection download. The best way to get your transactions previous to that data into Moneydance is to use a web browser to download them from your bank's web site. You can download into QFX, OFX or OFC files (aka Quicken or MS Money files), any of which will import cleanly into Moneydance.

Good luck, and please don't hesitate to let me know if I can be of further assistance,

After resetting the sync date, it downloaded only the last 12 months. I am able to download a csv file for the full time frame. Can I use this to Import?

Also, the "Yahoo stock quotes" is not available in my list of extensions. After some searching of the forums here, it appears that it was replaced by "Quotes and Exchange Rates."

clinttag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/35729762010-11-01T23:52:56Z2010-11-01T23:52:57ZHewitt 401K Only Downloading Most Recent Transactions`

Is there a way to load the historical transactions in using a .csv file?

clinttag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/35729762010-11-02T19:22:35Z2010-11-02T19:22:35ZHewitt 401K Only Downloading Most Recent Transactions`

It is often the case that a financial institution only provides the last few months of transaction for download via their direct connect server. More than a years worth of history is very rare with a direct connection.

I am afraid that while Moneydance can import a csv file into a bank account this is not the case with investment accounts. Can you download an OFX file or QIF file instead?
