Are you able to open your .md file normally by double-clicking
it? It sounds like you may not have copied your preferences over
when you switched computers, so Moneydance doesn't know what the
last file you opened it. Also, your version may no longer be
registered. Once you open your file once manually, Firefox should
open it correctly in the future.

Hope that helps. Please let me know if you need any further
assistance, and thanks for using Moneydance!

Thank you for the very prompt response. Moneydance is otherwise
working just fine. It is correctly associated with .md and .ofx
files (i.e. they bare the MD icon and files do open up correctly
when double-clicked). The file downloaded from the banking site
does not have.ofx extension to it, however it was all working fine
until last night.

I did a little more testing, and it appears it's working just
fine with IE8, but not Firefox 3.6.13... Firefox 3.6.13 was just
installed this weekend (I was using 3.6.12 before the computer
rebuilt).

Was there something special I should do in Firefox?

What extension do the files have, or do they not have any at
all? You might try reseting your file associations in Firefox to
see if you can get Firefox to open it. Alternately, you could
downgrade to Firefox 3.6.12 or switch to Chrome.

Would you be willing to send me a sample file from your bank?
Perhaps I can figure out wants going on if I mess with it on my
machine.

Sorry about the late reply - I have been traveling for the last
couple of days... The downloaded file has no extension (so that's
probably one of the problems) but IE and previous version of
Firefox (3.6.12) has no problem with that at all...

At this time, I'm going to think it's Firefox 3.6.13
mis-behaving...

Thank you, and we can probably close this thread/case now.
