<p>Are you able to print from other programs? You'll need to have a
properly installed CUPS printer in order to print from Java
programs.</p>

<p>I think I've got things working.</p>
<p>I did some web browsing and found<br>
<a href=
"http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-software-2/no-print-service-error-in-java-applications-436292/">
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-software-2/no-print-s...</a>,<br>
which pointed me in the direction of needing a .ppd file. At first,
I<br>
just copied the homelp.ppd file from my print server; it got rid of
the<br>
"no print service found error" but caused other problems for CUPS
during the actual printing. Then it occurred to me that maybe Java
just needed<br>
/something /there, so I created a null .ppd file:</p>
<pre>
<code>sudo touch /etc/cups/ppd/javaxxx.ppd</code>
</pre>
<p>After doing that, printing from Moneydance seems to work
fine.</p>
