rather than the Sun JVM. Unfortunately the OpenJDK reports to
Moneydance that it is in fact the Sun version so it is not possible
to tell from the console window which one you are running.</p>
<p>The easiest way to run Moneydance with the Sun JVM is to
download the moneydance.deb that comes bundled with java. You can
get it from here:<br>
<a href=
"http://moneydance.com/download/2011/installers/moneydance.deb">http://moneydance.com/download/2011/installers/moneydance.deb</a></p>
<p>Installing the .deb on 11.04 might complain that the package is
of bad quality. We believe this to be a bug in the current releases
of the ubuntu software center as this is not reported on older
versions of Ubuntu.</p>
<p>Up until very recently there was bug in the the window
compositor in ubuntu 11.04 that affects all java programs. You can
read about it here:<br>
<a href=
"https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/727143">https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/727143</a></p>
<p>I believe that the fix has now made it into the stable
repositories. Be sure to update your ubuntu to the latest
version.</p>

worked downloading the extensions.</p>
<p>The bad quality thing isn't a bug in the software center, but
rather the software center doing extra checks. I could probably
find the right person for you to talk to if you want to follow it
up. I work for Canonical developing Ubuntu.</p>
<p>I'm also running Oneiric (11.10) so the compiz bug has been
fixed for me.</p></div>Timtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/86491912011-07-18T11:26:22Z2011-07-18T11:26:22ZExtensions won't install<div><p>Hi Tim</p>
<p>It would be great to get additional information on the problem
with the .deb. We are currently using <a href=
"http://www.ej-technologies.com/products/install4j/overview.html">install4j</a>
to generate the deb. If you could give me the email of someone who
could point me in the right direction to get this fixed that would
be very much appreciated.</p>
