presented with the "possible match" dialog I selected "record".

The transactions that aren't recorded are typically ATM
transactions that do look like duplicates, with the only difference
being the date of the transaction.

Is there anyway top get these to record properly?

I am very sorry we are replying to your inquiry this late. When
you record a transaction with the "possible match" setting, you are
indicating that the transaction matches another transaction already
entered and so it is not imported but rather it is matched. It is
necessary to change that field to "no match", then when you import
this transaction, it will enter your register as a new item.

Sincerely,
