I see lots of questions and help about switching from Quicken to MD. I need help with the reverse flow. It's not that I want to switch from md to quicken, but always my accountants, bookeepers, and so on, have PCs and use quicken. I want to be able to export my financial data to them. I've tried exporting in all the options my 2008 md offers, .qif, delimited, etc, and am unable to have the account data even arrive in a folder on my own desktop. I am wanting to send it as an email attachment

    Hi Michael

We have noticed a bug on some systems that prevents exporting to a new file. The work around is to create a new empty file on your desktop manually, call it something like export.qif. And then when you run the export feature click the "Choose File", browse to your newly created file, select it, click the save button, then click the OK button on the export window. QIF is the correct format to use.

I am sorry for the trouble this has caused you.

    Sincerely

    Ben Spencer
