Since updating to the latest version the moneydance crashes after importing a QIF file.

It has not done this before. If I force quit the data seems to have imported when I reopen.

The status banner says importing but the whole thing freezes.

I am not support staff, just a user.

    Try this.
With the associated account register open drag and drop the QIF file into the side bar, account list on left.

    Hope this helps

I have tried three different import methods,

    1. File import
    2. Drag and drop (as you suggest)
    3. The “Import List” extension

All result in the qif file being imported and then the program freezing so only force quit is an option.

When Moneydance appears to freeze try Alt – SPACEBAR – M and use the arrow keys, probably the left, to see if you can move a missing dialog back on screen. This can happen if at some time you have connected a second monitor. Worth a try.

    Hope this helps.
