Just bought Moneydance to replace Quicken and spent 2 days tailoring the QIF import result to make sense. I don't want any stock or security information, names, prices, anything since I only do bank and credit card balances. Can I get rid of all that stuff such as the Stock Prices window? Can I not display it? I seem to have come over from Quicken with hundreds of stocks cluttering up my Moneydance.

    Hi carey

If you are talking about the summary page window on the right you can change its layout as well as including/excluding items under FILE (MONEYDANCE on Mac) – PREFERENCES – SUMMARY PAGE.
You can also add/remove items from the side bar, list on lef,t by clicking the “+” at the bottom of the side bar. You can more directly remove a item in the side bar by right clicking on it.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi, derekkent23.

I am not support staff, not even much of a user,
    just a novice.

Oh, yes!  Perfect, couldn't have asked for a more
exact and comprehensive result.  Thanks so much.

derekkent23 gave me a complete solution. The right thing to do is close my discussion but I don't see a way for me to do it. Could staff close it or could somebody let me know how? Thanks.
