<p>It sounds like you have your register sorted in descending order rather than ascending.</p>
<p>To toggle between the two orders, click in the header row of the 'Date' column. (note the small up/down triangle)<br>
Alternately...<br>
Right-click (CTRL-click for Mac) any transaction. From the resulting context menu, select 'Ascending'.</p>
