I recently downloaded trial (demo) version (2020). I have searched for how to add a custom entry in the "Check#" field but find archived articles or missing pages. Most refer to selecting “Summary” in the left sidebar to view the Summary page, then selecting Account --> Edit Account. I don’t see a left sidebar to start with. Might this be because I am using trail version yet?

    Hi Leon,

The preview build introduces a new means of adding custom Check# items.

Simply type it into the field.

    Hello,

If Kevin's suggestion doesn't help, please let us know the exact version of Moneydance you are using. There is no 2020 version. The trial version is fully functional. The only limit is you can only enter 100 transactions manually.

If you can't see the sidebar, try going to View -> Show Side Bar from the Moneydance menubar. If that doesn't help, please send a screenshot of your main Moneydance window. If you're not sure how to take a screenshot, please see http://www.take-a-screenshot.org/
