I apologize for the delay in my reply. I believe that a fellow user figured out a workaround for this situation by adding a flag to your Moneydance.vmoptions file. You can find the full instructions at: https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/discussions/problems/52734-hidpi...

It is very useful even on a simple 1080p resolution. Thank you.

andrea.depierotag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/483205592020-08-09T12:32:49Z2020-08-09T12:32:49ZScalable Fonts

@Ethan

This has been an ongoing issue for LITERALLY YEARS now. Why has Moneydance support not fixed this. There are several posts on this issue, including the one you mention, (which is closed, even thought it is NOT fixed), where support keeps suggesting a fix is coming from the developers. However, since, at least 2017, NOTHING appears to have been done. Why, as a user should I have to code a fix after every update. This should have been fixed long ago, and yet nobody at MD seems interested in providing a proper fix.

deerewrighttag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/483205592020-10-03T13:36:50Z2020-10-03T13:36:51ZScalable Fonts

The solutions provided does not work for me because I cannot find Moneydance on /opt
to alter the file. But even so, could Moneydance team please improve the scaling automatically like many other java type programs do in Linux?
My display is 2560 x 1440, 144Hz on Manjaro Linux.

Ismaeltag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/483205592020-10-03T17:59:54Z2020-10-03T17:59:54ZScalable Fonts

From: sprimost [Just a User]

For Manjaro, you must have downloaded the "other LINUX" file" and did an
unpack of it to a directory. For instance, I unpacked it to
/home/sprimost/Finance/Installed which created a "moneydance" subdirectory. The file you are looking for is there.

Another way to find the file is to look at the shortcut (edit on a right
click) under the application tab. I tried the modification and it worked
for me. Changing the number at the end of the line makes the display
font larger (increase) or smaller (decrease).
