Net worth report

Hi, I'm a very happy Moneydance user on the Mac. When I generate a "Net Worth" report, it correctly brings the balances for bank accounts, credit cards and assets into the report. However, for investments, it isn't bringing down the total value of the Portfolio (for example, I have a pension account which has two funds in it. I update the fund values once per month, if I go into the Portfolio Value it says total £72,535.51. The net worth report says £82,577.01. For some of the other investments it is the other way around, ie the net worth report is showing a lower value than the total value).

Looking at this further, it seems to be something with the updating of values within the investment. When I update the value every month I do it by putting the new price in the Currency/Security History page, and that updates the value in the Portfolio Value page. But going back into Currency/Security History it says at the top "Current Price: [what I most recently entered] but in the table below it shows the initial price and that is what is being used to calculate the Net Worth value. So I don't understand why are all my interior monthly update prices aren't being included.

Yes, problem resolved. I obviously haven't been doing price updates properly!

    I'm fellow user.

For manual entry of prices I would suggest you look at the Security Price Entry extension. This extension tends to make the process easier.
