<p>Common issues are as follows:<br>
1/ the right account has not been selected. is 1c Lloyds the account you want/are looking at?<br>
2/ You have Syncing running and you are on the remote computer and have not set the option in Preferences to auto commit</p>
<p>Take a look at the setting under FILE - PREFERENCES - NETWORK and check the tick box "Auto-commit Reminders (applies to current file on this computer). I have checked the auto commit in NETWORK and now it all<br>
works. I guess this has happened now, as it is the first new transaction<br>
reminder I have set since syncing to my phone. (which is also displaying<br>
the forward transaction). Prior to that, I have only used Md on my iMac.<br>
If I set it up on my Macbook, I will do the same there, but I may not<br>
bother as I currently have no need, unless circumstances change.</p>

<p>Just a user.....</p>
<p>My most common mistake (causing scratching of head) is that when setting<br>
up the reminder, look at the line above to see what account the reminder<br>
transaction will affect. Many times, it is the account itselft (lke xyz<br>
bank, rather than a sub-account Bankxyz->Checking.<br>
The next common error is to set the start date too late (past the<br>
current date but after the date when you want the transaction to take<br>
effect. That will catch it at the next scheduled date. What you don't<br>
want to do is set the date too early, becuase that just set it off<br>
before you really wanted it to go. There is no effect except when you<br>
restart: that seems to kick it off. Make sure the end date is waht you want.</p>
<p>Otherwise, I have had no problems with the reminders kicking off at the<br>
right time (and I have more than 30 now....</p>

I would change the format setting or enter the correct format then and reset the reminder and see if that fixes the problem. I changed the format, set up a test reminder with the DD/MM/YYYY and it worked fine. What I do find difficult is scheduling multiple reminders on the same day. I finally got it to accept it but not sure how as I just kept trying over and over again. I just did a second reminder with this date format to test it out and it didn't auto commit, I had to manually tell it to enter the transaction. So Reminders is a bit tricky.</p></div>Dee
