Inactive accounts
I use version 2020.1 1928 on a MacBook Pro 15-inch late 2013 running mac OS Big Sur 11.1. I have inactive accounts that I would like to remove from the summary. Attempts to do so by opening the account then selecting account>edit>inactive make my MacBook Pro freeze totally so that it has to be restarted. How do I avoid this?

Big Sur needs the very latest version of MD 2021.1 (3034)

This may or may not be a free upgrade depending on when & where you purchased MD.
You also need to check in MacOS Big Sur System Preferences, General, that Prefer tabs when opening documents is set to "never" or "in full screen"

That is very helpful, Jeff. I changed Prefer tabs to "in full screen" and my problem is solved without having to fork out for an update. Many thanks
