import QIF from Chase
Is not working correctly. The file I have clearly shows all transactions in the period I"m downloading, but only 1 transaction is added to the account in the file. Three transactions appear in moneydance, whereas there are more than 20 transactions visible in the ascii display..

What happens if you have the console window open whilst you run the import? You should see extra debug messages?

Either the other 17 transactions were already imported previously or they are considered too old to be added? There are transactions back to November in that file.
Also the file is missing a trailing '^" on the last line.
And show the debug report as Stuart suggested.

I'm a fellow user.
Chase stuffed up the QIF files they produce years ago and despite customers complaining have never corrected the problem.
Each transaction in a QIF file must be ended with a caret symbol (^) on a line by itself, Chase just has a blank line between each record. The EOF indicator will be taken as an end of record so usually only the last transaction is added.
Use their OFX/QX download instead.

I think this information should be in the FAQ or support questions.
