<p>Not trying to divert the issue - but why do you transfer an export backup when you could just transfer/copy the primary file? An archive is 1 file while the actual working version appears to be a folder with some other files and folders.</p>
<p>In any event, the first article on the last page solved my problem. I added the ".moneydancearchive" extension myself and that did the trick. This is a bug though since I actually looked for something like this in the dropdown. This extension doesn't appear anywhere that I can tell aside from this message board. My old archive files say "Moneydance Old Data" with no file extension but MD still seems to recognize them.</p></div>Andrew Gardner
