If you are using md2021 preview build 2012+ Then you can use toolbox extension to delete the profile. Advanced menu, ofx tools, delete banking profile.

It is strange that I was able to set up again all the other accounts but this one. I am not sure if I am very confortable to use the MoneyBot console and the PythonScripts.

My MD version is 2021 (2006) but don’t know the exact build. I installed the extension for the Toolbox but nothing happens when I click on it in MD. I read your website about "The Extensions will only run properly on Moneydance version 2021.1 build 3056 onwards” but I am not sure to want to install the beta Moneydance 2021.1 (3064) that might create more bugs...

Patricktag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/491348212021-04-10T07:57:24Z2021-04-10T07:57:24ZError code reported by the server was: 2003 for Citi Cards account

Yup. Nothing will happen unless you are on the preview build. The current preview is 3065. It’s actually pretty good now and sometime soon will become the official 2021.1 version (in my own opinion). If you want to try toolbox you have two choice.
1/ install 3065 https://infinitekind.com/preview. You can always downgrade back to build 2006 after if you are not happy afterwards.
2/ window, show MoneyBot console. Open. Toolbox.py. Run (not run snippet). That’s it. Just click ignore/bin/ok if you see two dylib messages on a Mac.

Always backup first.

I am not sure to understand your option 2. Could you explain a bit more?

Patricktag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/491348212021-04-10T22:47:52Z2021-04-10T22:47:52ZError code reported by the server was: 2003 for Citi Cards account

You do not need to uninstall (option 1) - the preview will overwrite the stable version (which, personally, I now consider less stable than the preview - getting close to the next stable release imo (just a user)

option 2 - is just if you don't wish to try/move to the preview - Stuart's python script will work with your version. btw "build" would be 2006 for you.

just some thoughts as you consider what to do - btw - it's bedtime in the UK.... :)

dtdtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/491348212021-04-10T22:52:56Z2021-04-10T22:52:56ZError code reported by the server was: 2003 for Citi Cards account

Now that said, deleting the bank profile will "break" the citi card that works, as you are deleting the citi bank profile. That's PROBABLY ok, as you would then have two to reset up.

I have about 13 chase cards, with multiple logins, I would be KILLING myself to delete the bank profile (and yes - I did kill myself with forget all passwords as well.)

Instead of deleting the bank profile for chase, I reset up all 13 accounts, 11 worked. 2 did not. Couldn't get those two to work to save my life.

So I created two brand new accounts - moved all transactions from the two accounts to the two new accounts - and setup online banking - worked great.

Now this was pre-Toolbox, but it did work. And of course I deleted the old two accounts - good riddance.

Again, just some thoughts from just a user.

dtdtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/491348212021-04-10T22:53:56Z2021-04-10T22:54:19ZError code reported by the server was: 2003 for Citi Cards account

.

dtdtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/491348212021-04-10T23:00:55Z2021-04-10T23:08:31ZError code reported by the server was: 2003 for Citi Cards account

Now, another thought - 2003 is "account not found" - means you ARE connecting to Citi, just they don't agree with your account number. Have you tried
"online Banking Setup/CHANGE and see what account numbers Citi offers? Maybe there is a digit transposition/mistake? i'd try that at least before going further.

dtdtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/491348212021-04-11T07:39:14Z2021-04-11T07:39:14ZError code reported by the server was: 2003 for Citi Cards account

For option 1 you just install over the top. That’s it. I do it daily (it seems).

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/491348212021-04-13T23:04:32Z2021-04-13T23:04:32ZError code reported by the server was: 2003 for Citi Cards account

I tried many times to "disable" and recreate the "online banking service" for both citi cards and only the same one is working after each time. I can recreate the connection with each card (MD offers me the right account number for each card) but only one is working. Even if I only recreate the online banking service with the faulty one (not the other), still doesn't work!!!

Don't want to seem ignorant :-), but were do I find the "Toolbox.py"? The Toolbox I downloaded from https://yogi1967.github.io/MoneydancePythonScripts/ is only the Extension ".mxt".

Patricktag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/491348212021-04-14T00:38:45Z2021-04-14T00:38:45ZError code reported by the server was: 2003 for Citi Cards account

If you are using MD 2021 (3056+), toolbox.mxt will work fine for you.

I know you are hesitant, but 3065 is very close to the next stable release. I don't tend to use raw previews, but this one is very close to stable (and better than 2006, imo) , and I'm using it.

just a user

dtdtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/491348212021-04-14T06:41:17Z2021-04-14T06:41:17ZError code reported by the server was: 2003 for Citi Cards account

My mistake. I don’t actually publish the actual py file, but you can get it here:

https://github.com/yogi1967/MoneydancePythonScripts/raw/master/sour.... You have yo be careful to save it as a plain text file.

But it would be much better and easier for you to install the latest 2021.1 preview 3065. It’s better than 2021.0(2006), has ofx fixes, and will run toolbox.

Now both are working fine again. Great!
It seems indeed that the "disable" option from the MD was not enough to do the trick.
Thank you Stuart for all your time and energy helping me out and hopefully other users.
Cheers.

Patricktag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/491348212021-04-15T19:20:01Z2021-04-15T19:20:01ZError code reported by the server was: 2003 for Citi Cards account

@Patrick 😃 🧰 =1 You are welcome! the MD Disable doesn't delete the profile.... It 'kills' the link between 1 account and the profile... If you are lucky and you disable all, then it might delete... Yes, the delete script in Toolbox is best.....

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)
