On Version 2022.2 the Investment Transactions Report appears to be incorrect:
Account Column now showing Security
Action Column now blank
C Column now showing Account
Security Column now Blank
Shares Column now Blank
Fee Column now showing a random number
Amount Column now Blank

I believe the C column is showing category

Selected date ranges are not being honored.

Shares column appears to be showing cleared state.

I think the Action column may be picking up the check number.

Fee column seems to be showing amount.

The report looks to be rubbish in my view.

Thanks @Sean. This is a frequently used report. So for me, quite urgent to fix. Many thanks.

I have a similar problem with a Investment Transaction dividend report.

My temporary fix was to reinstall earlier version 2022 (4056).

All working fine until fix becomes available.

Possibly a related issue, but since 2022.2 The Transaction Filter report is showing a small square in the Check# column instead of values such as Debit, Credit, CashPt etc.
This was working fine on 2022.1

Actually, in addition to above, the Transaction Filter report is showing the category under Account and account under category

This issue should be fixed in 2022.3(4061). Can you check and report back?

I still have the same issue with 4061 - Transaction Filter report has Account and Category data in the wrong columns and a square shows in the Check# column where is should show "Debit" etc.

Account and category columns are looking right here in 4061.

I agree the Cheque # column is wrong.

    Hi Stuart

Sorry to say but no change with 2022.3(4061). I still have the account and category data in the wrong columns (Transaction Filter report) and the Check# column is still showing a square.

    Regards

    Steve

The report used to allow a search across all investment accounts if you left the Account unchecked. Now you must select each account to run the report. This is very time consuming.

I rely very heavily on the Investment Transaction report as it used to work for tax reporting purposes. Very simply, I need to see every investment transaction during a given period of time. This was apparently the default and is no longer possible at all. Please fix ASAP.

We've released another preview version earlier today which I hope has resolved all of these issues. It's possible the issue of having to select an account in the investment transactions report is still there, but I will check on that ASAP. As far as I am aware, all of the issues are now resolved in the Transaction Filter report.

    Thanks,
    Sean

    Sean,

Thanks for your quick reply. I have tried out the new version (Version 2022.3 Build 2063) and see that the default Investment Transaction report format is back to the original formatting (i.e., same columns as before and data appears correct.)

The issue with having to select an account IS still there. It would be nice to have the default be: All accounts are selected. Even nicer would be the ability to choose which accounts to include, though I am confident this would be some major work outside the scope of a bug fix.

    Best Regards,
    Tom Polgreen

The investment Transaction report in version 4063 appears to not return any data if you select an Account. If the Account is left unticked then data for all accounts is returned.

In my case, for version 4063, if I uncheck everything, I get a report showing only cash transfers into or out of Investment accounts over all dates. If I only check Date, then I get the cash transfers as above, but only for the date range selected.

However, if I select a specific account, I get a full report including Actions: Buy, Sell, Div, SellXfr, MiscInc, MiscExp, but not the transfers into or from other accounts. This is what I was expecting from previous versions.

    Hi All,

Thanks for your feedback on this, and I'm very sorry about the problem. I have reproduced it in my own file and can see the problem. I'm working on it now and hope to have a fix out for it soon.

    Thanks,

I aim having report issues too. These really need to be corrected soon to have accurate results for taxes. My reports that are supposed to be pulling in tax items are missing tagged items. Check number columns are not printing. They are blank. I am on a Mac using Monterey but looking back at older printouts I can issues with check numbers going back about 3 months, before Monterey
