Moneydance File Open Dialogs do not work after Monterey Update

Hi Folks:

I updated to MacOS 12.0.1. After the upgrade I can open my Moneydance Accounts file if I double click from Finder, however I cannot open the file using dialogues within Moneydance.

The "auto open last file" simple doesn't work. On the loading window I can click the file but get an error "Moneydance was unable to find the file:". If I choose to "Open Other" I the .moneydance directory is greyed out in the file selection dialogue.

I don't know enough about how Mac OS / Java / Moneydance are doing file selection these days but it looks like something goes awry with the code that managers file selection in Moneydance. It seems like there is not a permissions problem per se because double clicking on the file in Finder works.

Let me know if you'd like any more information.

We are sorry to hear about the problem you have encountered.

Upgrading to the latest preview version should hopefully fix the problem for you.

Moneydance 2022.3 (4061) is now available to download from this page.

I downloaded 2022.3 (4062). It did not help at first, but after a reboot
Moneydance is now opening files as expected.

    Thanks for your response!

    Raymond
