It has a positive register balance. The Summary balance shows $0. It's not. I have checked preferences, added a transaction but it remains stuck at $0.

This wasn't a problem with another account imported via the same method of opening a QIF file.

deantag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/495387932021-12-10T08:54:17Z2021-12-10T08:54:17ZSide bar balance vs Register Balance

I am not support staff, just a user.
Hi Dean

From your screen shot I can see a blue dot against Chase Trust Savings meaning one or more transactions have not been confirmed. Could it be that next to the heading Banks Accounts that the dropdown is selected for Cleared Balance not say Current Balance? Your screen shot does not show that setting.

Hope this helps.

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/495387932021-12-10T23:18:36Z2021-12-10T23:18:36ZSide bar balance vs Register Balance

On the Mac, that is set in preferences. If I encounter this again I'll give your suggestion a go. I'm a newbie with this and it was late at night... Thank you for the reply.

deantag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/495387932021-12-11T08:17:54Z2021-12-11T08:17:54ZSide bar balance vs Register Balance

I am not support staff, just a user.
Hi Dean.

Balance types are: Balance, Current Balance and Cleared Balance.

You set the balance type for Accounts in the Side Bar, list on left, under Preferences.

On the Summary Page you set the balance type per Account type using the individual Dropdown. See screen shot.

Hope this helps

derekkent23
