Moneydance Stopped Downloading Transactions From Charles Schwab
I am using Moneydance version 2021.1 (3069) on a Windows 10 computer. Because I was hospitalized, I had not downloaded transactions from several Charles Schwab accounts for several months. Before my hospitalization all Schwab accounts downloaded flawlessly. Now, none of the Schwab accounts (checking acc plus 2 IRA investment accounts) will download transactions. All non-Schwab accounts download properly.
I have read some discussions about similar problems with Moneydance+ not downloading Schwab transactions. So my question is the following: IS INFINITEKIND ACTIVELY WORKING WITH CHARLES SCHWAB TO RESOLVE TRANSACTION DOWNLOAD ISSUES WITH MONEYDANCE 2021.1 AS WELL AS MONEYDANCE+? I would prefer to continue using MD 2021.1, to avoid monthly Plaid fees associated with Moneydance+. I see no point in upgrading to Moneydance+ if it has the same Schwab download issues. I would greatly an email response to indicate whether you are working on this issue for MD 2021.1. If you don't intend to fix this issue with MD 2021.1, I must regrettably look for a competing software package from another supplier.

Hi Maddy,
I updated to Moneydance 2022.3 (4068), signed up for moneydance+ and setup moneydance+. My schwab transactions are now downloading. Speaking to Schwab they said that they are no longer working with Plaid because Plaid did not want to conform to their security. They are only supporting Quicken and Mint.com.
If you have any more information that would be great.

just a user - I've been a Schwab customer for over 30 years - working with their customer support is useless, their technical support not much better.
They cut/change technologies without notice (Oct 1, 2020 and Oct 1, 2021 are specfic examples - one of the reasons MD created the MD+/Plaid interface.)
If your Schwab downloads are working, then Plaid isn't cut off. (Schwab did cut off MD itself because they didn't have a US presence).
If your MD+/Plaid downloads stop working - definitely put up a red flag - but here versus Schwab. (And if that happens, I will be reporting it right there with you.)

This is absolutely ridiculous. I'm not a coder. I just want the software to work. I upgraded to 4068. signed up for MD+. Tried to download Schwab Investment Transactions. Here's what I get:

Does MD+/Plaid work with Schwab or not? Please, just let me know. If it doesn't, fine, I'll move on. But this is exhausting.

First has this been consistent? i.e. you've tried for days and the same error? Or is it coincidental to your signup? (i.e. Schwab might really have been not responding then? - Did you try it 30 minutes later? An hour later?)
If consistent, you should open up a new thread and say this is the issue - responding to a months old thread will get less attention.
Miy Schwab connection is still working fine (just did it), but I signed up a month ago - so if there is a consistent problem with sign up, folks here can help diagnose.
Finally, trying to be kind - starting a post with "This is absolutely ridiculous" doesn't tend to engender help - it tends to isolate. If this is your fourth to sixth post on this subject, I understand, but if this is your first.... well...
That said, this is an attempt to help... from just a user.

Moneydance+/Plaid successfully downloaded my four Schwab Investment accounts
Saturday morning. All four are in balance with Schwab. No problem here!

dtd I meant to say that my 'downloads are not working' -- sorry for the confusion. art.richard thank you for confirming that you are able to download from schwab. Yes the schwab support person was not very knowledgeable but as she said they no longer support Plaid and my downloads fail I was inclined to believe that is the issue. I still wonder if because I am a new Plaid user that I may be experiencing these problems.
My accounts are listed in Moneydance+, their sync dates correctly show the last time I downloaded (before October and Schwab's change), When I try to download for an individual account I get prompted for my password, then I see the "finished writing sync data" at the bottom of the moneydance transaction window but no new transactions, and no errors. Thanks dtd, I will follow your suggestion and move this into a new discussion
