Hi lkeppeljunk

I have never encountered that problem on the many versions/builds of Moneydance I have run on Windows 10, 11 and Linux.

What is your computer operating system, Moneydance version/build e.g. 2022.3(4063) and mouse type so support can provide recommendations.

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/495840362022-01-06T14:30:11Z2022-01-06T14:30:11Zmoneydance expand/collapse arrows on summary page accounts list not working well

Running on iMac OSX 12.1. Currently is build 2022.3 (4063). Apple Magic mouse (wireless) currently showing battery at 100%. Clicks work everyplace else, but seems "touchy" on the account expand/collapse arrows, almost like I have to click on just the right single pixel to get it to work. It's not a big issue, but one that I wanted to report.

Thanks.

lkeppeljunktag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/495840362022-01-06T14:40:33Z2022-01-06T14:40:33Zmoneydance expand/collapse arrows on summary page accounts list not working well

I am not support staff, just a user.
Hi lkeppeljunk

I am not a Mac user, but other users have had problems in the past using Apple Magic mouse (wireless) rather than a wired mouse.

Perhaps other Mac users or support can comment.

If you have one try a wired mouse to see what happens.

Hope this helps

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/495840362022-01-06T15:38:41Z2022-01-06T15:56:23Zmoneydance expand/collapse arrows on summary page accounts list not working well

Hi,

We are sorry to hear about the problem you have encountered.

To improve the sensitivity of the Scroll of the mouse you might need to turn off inertia scrolling, perhaps?!. You can find this in Accessibility - Pointer Control - Mouse Options. Also, if you still notice a delay when clicking on categories or similar, you should start typing the category name and use the autofill instead. This is much quicker.

Finally, if you are running Moneydance on Big Sur, in your System Preferences (not in Moneydance), navigate to the Set your scrollbars from System Preferences -> General to "Always".

This should hopefully resolve the issue for you.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

In fact, you don’t have to be too accurate at all.

iMac MacOS 12.1& MD 2022.3 (4063) with Magic Mouse 2 and/or Magic Trackpad 2 both wireless. No issues whatsoever.

[To improve the sensitivity of the Scroll of the mouse you might need to turn off inertia scrolling] - scrolling isn't a problem, but I did this anyway, without any change.

[navigate to the Set your scrollbars from System Preferences -> General to "Always"] - I am running Monterey, and scrollbars were already set to Always.

Jeff,
Thanks. I didn't know you could click anywhere on the Heading (Bank Account Credit Card, etc.). However, when I try that, just like when I click on the rotating arrow, sometimes it expands/collapses and frequently it doesn't.

Maybe it is just something glitchy in my iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017) computer. Since it usually works after trying to get it to Expand/Collapse after about 1-2 dozen tries, I'll just keep putting up with it.

Thanks to both of you!

lkeppeljunk
