I just finished reconciling my checking account and wanted to enter some transactions in my investment accounts. but it fails to open a new transaction.
I tried closing Moneydance and restarting no help, I closed it. rebooted and tried again with the same result. I tried my checking and saving acoounts and had no issues starting new transactions.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, upgraded from 2022.3 to 2022.4 and now it works.
Before this started this morning I did a "Check for updates" and it said everything was up to date.

4078 is a preview version that fixes your particular issue. It is not "yet" a stable release.

It might be useful mentioning that in the latest version you can navigate to File->Preferences->Check For Updates and select any of the following options now:

    • Stable Updates Only
    • Preview Beta Updates
    • Don't Check for Updates

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.
