iMac update to Monterey 12.4 -- moneydance not found in my library
I can have a computer guru come help me but if there is a simple answer to my not being able to get on moneydance, would like to do that. I just had my iMac updated to Monterey 12.4 and now can't get to moneydance. I only use it for a "bookkeeper" so don't need online nor connected to iPhone and/or iPad. I obviously don't want to have to set everything up again nor do I want to risk losing all my financial info history. I love my moneydance and don't want to switch to anything else.

Hello,
When you write that Moneydance is not in your library, do you mean your Applications folder? Did you (or whoever upgraded your system) clear out your existing data?
Do you remember which version of Moneydance you were running?

Hello Ethan,
I was running “ 2010 Beta “ I have recently updated to Mac OS Monterey. When I try to open the program I get a “ problem report for JavaApplicationStub “ and the program won’t open.
Thank you!

New Mac OS systems have a habit of breaking older software, and if you have a 2010 version (and a beta at that), it is not odd that it won't work anymore. You may need to upgrade, and with it being that old, you may need to get someone here to walk you through upgrading it.
You might also mean the following version:
Moneydance 2021.1 build 2010 - preview
Much newer, but the above paragraph still applies.

Even if you do upgrade, to make Moneydance run, Ethan's message still applies, as maybe your upgrader didn't move the data files over.
If this is true, hopefully you still have access to that computer, or a backup of that computer which does have the files.

You are exactly right. I got it done this morning, purchased an update and have been using it! Thank you so much, Geri
