Can't revert back to pre-Moneydance+ days
I decided that Moneydance+ was a little more than I needed (Chase accounts won't download the old ways anymore). When I try to disconnect my other accounts (that still authorize the old transfer methods) I get an error message "I'm sorry, Moneydance was unable to remove the connection". How do I remove Moneydance+ entirely from my updated Moneydance. Seems like I cannot go back to the old system transfers.
Thanks

just a user - just a start.
Have you unenrolled from Moneydance+ yet? You may not want to totally blow away MD+ until you do so.
It sounds like you moved all your accounts to MD+ - there was no need to do so, you could have left the accounts still using OFX with OFX. There was no requirement to move everything over.
And yes, you can get rid of MD+ entirely by using the Toolbox Extension. I assume you are using 2022.5(4091)?
I don't have the exact steps necessary to do this, but I'm sure someone will step in (either IK support or another user) to help.

Thanks for your response.
1) Have the latest version (although I can't seem to find the version
number anymore).
2) Did unenroll from Moneydance+, but the setup screen still shows up when
I try to "disconnect"or connect to online transactions.
3) How/Where is the Toolbox extension that allows me to drop Moneydance+
Thanks again

just a user - You can find the version under Moneydance/About Moneydance. It should be 2022.5(4091) - report back on this to ensure that the next responder knows this.
The Toolbox extension can be installed under Extensions/Manage Extensions
As to specifically removing Moneydance+ so you can use OFX direct connect again (won't work for Chase, of course), rather than try to walk you through it (I haven't done it myself since I have my "mix" (some OFX, some MD+) working), I'll defer to others to tell you what parts of Toolbox to use.
Realize help from I/K support is U.K. based, so they are still in the middle of their night. Help from the Toolbox author Stuart often comes, but he is U.K. based as well. Others might jump in, but more responses may come in their morning.

I do have 2022.5(4091) and I have installed the Toolbox.
I will wait to hear from someone tomorrow. Thanks again for your help.

Toolbox, advanced mode, online banking tools, force disconnect md+ connection. Do this on each md+ connection. You only need backup once/the first time
Unsubscribe from md+
Toolbox, same menu, zap md+ license
That’s it.

He already unsubscribed from MD+ - does that make a difference?

Ok, running Mac version of system (not sure if that makes a difference).
When I go into Toolbox, Advanced Mode, none of the fields are selectable. I
do have selectable fields when going into Menu: Online Banking Tools but
only have access to the "Readonly" tools.

You have to click toolbox options, top left, and enable advanced mode first.

That worked!
Thanks so much. Had no idea how much goes on behind the scenes.
