I created a new account, imported my transactions from Quicken into Moneydance and the balances are not correct. I want to delete the account and start over. I will try importing transactions and accounts separately. I have 40 years of data. Any suggestions? Thank You

If you want to start over with a completely new empty data set, take the menu option File --> New, later on you can delete the old data set if you so desire.

just a user - if you have financial accounts, incorrect balances will be normal, and will need to be worked with and massaged.

if checking/savings/credit cards, you may need to set the initial balance to bring the correct balance into view. (Quicken doesn't pass on the initial balance in a QIF)

Hope that helps from someone with about 35 years of data that came over from Managing Your Money, then Quicken, then Moneydance.
