Scroll bar needed for MD+ Account connection
I realize I am an extreme case, but for the love of all things holy, PLEASE add a scroll bar to the Account selector in MD+.
I have a 34" monitor and I still can't see the bottom of my account list.
At the very least - can the list be filtered to remove entries that are already linked to an account?

just a user - sounds like you have a lot of repeats (or a lot of accounts)
Should you possibly use Stuart's Toolbox extension to remove duplicates?
I can't tell, of course, since you redacted (properly) some of the information.

None of them are duplicates. I churn credit cards for sign up bonuses as a hobby for myself and a couple family members (you can see the groupings I've made).
I've resorted to temporarily assigning accounts to the topmost group just so that it is visible, and then reassigning it to the proper group after making the MD+ connection.

Ok, thanks for the clarification. Yes, if it doesn't scroll, it should.

Thanks, I'll pass this onto our developers. Are you able to use the arrow keys to scroll?

No, I tried using the keyboard but the selector just disappears off the screen. Tried counting based on the number of accounts but it also lists inactive cards so I can never get it right. Ended up moving it to a visible group so I could select it, and then moving it back, as I mentioned above.

Hi Jason,
Upgrading to the latest preview version should hopefully fix the problem for you.
Moneydance 2022.6 (4097) is now available to download from this page.
For a full list of improvements in the preview version, please refer to this page.
We would recommend creating a manual backup file prior to installing the update. You should choose File --> Export Backup. Then, you should remove the older version and install Moneydance 2022.6 (4097).
Please keep us posted on your progress, Thank you!

I should have mentioned - I am on 2022.6 (4097) already.

just a user
If you downloaded 2022.6(4097) from the preview area BEFORE Jan 27, you will need to download the release 4097 as there were a couple of changes before release.
That said, those changes do not fix your problem, but you may want the release 4097.

I only updated to 4097 when I received the update popup, so it wasn't a preview build afaik.
In any event, this was been a longstanding issue, I just have been living with it. But as my number of card accounts grows, it's becoming more and more of a nuisance lol!

Jason is not alone! I too have so many accounts that they extend below my display on the MD+ account selection list. (I manage accounts for myself, my spouse, and our children. None are duplicate.) I see exactly the same symptoms with version 2022.6 (4097) as those reported by Jason, namely I cannot see all of the accounts and using the keyboard cursor keys only causes the selector to disappear as it advances to accounts below the bottom of the display and to eventually reappear at the top of the visible list. I agree with Jason that the solution is to both add scrolling to the list and to filter out of the list any accounts already connected.
P.S. Test Team, please add this edge case (very high account quantity) to your regression tests.
P.S. Jason, I love your ingenious workaround and will try that. =8^D

I just paid for the upgrade to the latest 2023 (5005) preview and am sorry to report that it still has this problem.

I can corroborate Jason's report. No joy with version 2023 (5005) on this bug.

I spotted the following item in the Moneydance 2023.2 (5059) release notes:
If there are too many items in the Moneydance+ Accounts popup, they now overflow to a sub-menu to avoid running off the screen
I am happy to say that I tried it out and it works very well. I have enough accounts to fill two overflow sub-menus and partially fill a third.
It's not a scroll bar solution, but certainly solves the original problem. Well done, development team!

Thank you for your feedback!
I will refer the same to the development team.
