Will Not Show MoneyDance
I am a longtime user of MoneyDance. It is a terrific application for managing my finances!
I just upgraded to your latest version. However, after I open it and enter my password, all that shows is the MoneyDance menu bar. I cannot see any of my finance window. I shut down all other applications, and restarted my MacBook Pro (M1). Still does not show the application window.
I also uninstalled the new version, and reinstalled it. Still no window will show (see attached screenshot).
I switched back to the former version (from earlier this year), and it works just fine. Can you address the no-show issue with the latest upgrade?
I am on a 2021 MacBook Pro with he M1 chip. It has 8-gig of RAM.
Thank You,

Options:
First install PREVIEW 5060 and see if that works.
https://infinitekind.com/preview
Assuming not:
1. find and delete ratios.mxt and debtinsights.mxt from disk
or wait for PREVIEW 5061
or downgrade to 5006, update all extensions, re upgrade to 5060

There are no .mxt files on my MacBook Pro. I have searched, but there are none.
I have also download the preview again. Still having the same problem.
The former version (2023.1 5006) works fine. The new version does not show the application window.
Any suggestions?

Now. Menu Extensions. Manage extensions. Installed. Update all.
Then try the update again to 5060.

Thanks! That worked. 5060 is running properly now.

Out of interest. Can you tell me:
what os? Windows or Mac, and what version?
what version of MD where you on before you attempted the upgrade?
can you send a screenshot or list of all the extensions listed in installed extensions?
Thanks.

I have a 2021 MacBook Pro with the M1 processor. I was using MD 5006.
The extensions I was using are: Balance Predictor, Stock Glance, and Paypal Importer. When I updated them all, and uninstalled Paypal Importer, it began working.

among other things, my login screen is gone as well.
instead i just get this warning when the main page opens
java.lang.IncompatibleClassChangeError: class com.moneydance.modules.features.ratios.RatioPart$1 can not implement com.infinitekind.moneydance.model.AcctFilter, because it is not an interface (com.infinitekind.moneydance.model.AcctFilter is in unnamed module of loader"app")

@remigijus - same song, second verse. Your ratios extension is out of date - extensions out of date are one of the two major issues that MD is working to fix.
If you can "get in" you need to update your extensions (in your case, especially ratios).
If you can't get in, you can try the preview 5060, or you can reinstall 5006, update your extensions then go back to the new version, and it will work.
Hopefully very soon, this will all be moot, as the code will detect it for you.
