build (743). It's available for download at: <a href=

Don't be concerned about the Beta moniker. These builds are the
stable build with added features and improvements.<br>
As far as the green check marks go... these are either added
manually by moving to the 'C' column and then tapping the spacebar
or up and down arrow keys, or they're added thru the 'Reconcile'
option available under the 'Account' menu. You can also mark a txn.
cleared by right clicking it and choosing 'Mark as Cleared' HTH

want to manually clear the transaction, how does the reconcile
function work? Also, I don't know if I have the latest build; I
downloaded Moneydance about a month ago. Is there a way to check up
for updates.</p></div>Andytag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/12882282010-03-22T23:59:30Z2010-03-22T23:59:30ZCheck clearing<div><p>Hi Andy, To check the build of your version of MD, click on Help
> About Moneydance. Your best bet to ensure that you have the
latest build is to follow the link in my previous post.<br>

743. How do I update? And how do I ensure I don't lose any
settings? I spent a lot of time configuring my checks to print
correctly and would hate to have to do that again.</p>

have MD automatically check for new release versions. Click on
'Extentions' and then 'Add...' Select the 'From the Internet radio
button and click 'Next'. Choose the Moneydance Updater from the
resulting table. Note that the MD Updater will NOT notify you of
'preview' releases.<br>
The link I provided takes you to the latest 'preview' installation
files. Download and save to disk the appropriate file for your
operating system. The installtion file will update your current
version. It has been my experience that updating has no effect on
'Prefference' settings. It is my understanding that those settings
are stored in a different file.<br>
As with any upgrade, make sure you have a recent backup. HTH -Kevin

<p>There is no way to automatically have moneydance mark a
transaction as cleared. You either have to mark it as clear from
the register as Kevin described, or you can run the reconcile tool.
The reconcile tool still requires that you manually indicate that
each transaction is cleared.</p>
<p>i am sorry oif this does not meet your needs.</p>
