My checking account is corrupted, but the information from last year is still correct. I exported the data for last year to a .qif file I saved. I created a new checking account file, and tried to import the .qif data, but nothing shows up. I then created a whole new file and new checking account and tried to import the .qif file into the new file, but nothing shows up. Please help.

The first thing to do is to open the QIF file in a text editor and see what is actually in the file.

Thank you. For some reason no transactions were in the file. I
exported the file again, the same way, and this time the transactions
are there and I was able to import the data.
