Licence key recovery

Hi

I have a licence for Moneydance 2023. The upgrade to 2024 worked fine and I kept the licence key with no problem. Unfortunately the upgrade to 2024.1 has somehow lost my licence key and I can't find the original email. Please could you resend me the licence key.

   I'm having the same problem. And now Infinite Kind doesn't recognize my email. Is there a quick solution?

   Your older license key should still be in the file config.dict that is contained in the Moneydance folder under your login.

   This is just a Text file so is easily read, license keys start with an entry like "gen.lic_key20xx"

   @he did you have a 2023 license key or a 2022 license key that allows upgrades in 2023?

   The license history only works for licenses issued by IK itself. When they transferred the sale of licenses to Paddle they no longer can send you a license history.

   The latest build corrected some code for determining the license validity:
   

   Moneydance 2024.1 build 5118 (Fri, 19 Apr 2024 13:45:00 +0000)
   Please note that if you have not purchased a Moneydance 2023 or 2024 license,
   this update may require a paid upgrade. The previous update may have
   incorrectly run as a free upgrade in some situations.
