Adding
I wanted to re arrange the columns in the checkbook ledger for example
Date----Check No----To/From-----Category----Description----and also I would like to be able to do a split
Which would be under the category.....sometime you would be buying different types of items on the
receipt for example buying groceries and you purchase batteries or clothes at the same store.
You do not give me an option to customize the columns by adding or re arranging so I can have that
flow.
I still using a mac and your system will not run in my old operating system.....
I have not heard of any kind of reply and I still have not tried entering anything yet.

I'm a fellow user.
it is not possible to rearrange the columns.
When you select the category field, there is a split button that brings up a new window that allows you to enter the details of a split transaction.
Moneydance 2023 should run on MacOS 10.13 or later. 10.13 was released in 2017, any older is really too old with this operating system, especially with how Apple make changes to the OS, and it should be noted that Apple have ended support for 10.15 and earlier. It is next to impossible for any vendor to offer complete support for an application on an OS where that is no longer supported in itself.

So I am not able to add in a column for Payee such as the person's name.
I will look for the split window in the category

The payees name is expected to be in the description field, you seem to be saying you want to add more fields to each transaction, you certainly cannot do this.
