I normally schedule online payments for payday, and it seems the order is the other way around, which shows me as being overdrawn, when I am in fact not overdrawn.

r.j.rizzutotag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/466531512018-12-12T02:55:12Z2018-12-12T02:55:12Zorder of deposits and withdrawls

just a user, I think MD just plugs them in as received from the download. If I want to reverse a sequence for a certain day, I just duplicate the transaction which will use the same date, but add to the end, then delete the old one.

mhoggietag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/466531512018-12-12T02:57:28Z2018-12-12T02:57:28Zorder of deposits and withdrawls

Hi r.j.rizzuto,

Try this...

Right-click (CTRL-click for Mac) any transaction in the register.
From the resulting context menu, select 'Sort by' > 'Date / Amount'

The ability to sort by Date / Amount etc, is a real Hidden Gem that needs more publicity.

It’s one of the great features of MoneyDance that can be so easily overlooked by reviewers of software.

As far as I am aware, it’s not in Quicken or Microsoft Money, or in the other myriad of lesser known personal finance software.

You don’t even need to set it in every account, if you set it in one Bank or Credit Card, all the others accounts in that section are set.

That’s why for me, MD is best of breed.
