I've reported this ad nauseam but, clearly, no one is listening. So, build number 1915 is now available and I will doubtless migrate to it. BUT IT WOULD BE GOOD TO KNOW WHAT'S CHANGED: the message that accompanies it (see attached screen dump) is USELESS.

Sorry - I love you dearly, but this is just plain annoying.............and keeps on happening

Cheers

The Updater extension is showing the changes on the included screen dump.

You can also refer to the change log for details:

Thanks for coming back to me - I’m not completely daft (however I may appear): here’s what I get on my system: I think you’ll agree it’s not a lot of use

Cheers

I'm not Derek, he lives many thousands of kilometres from where I am.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/484298172020-06-27T12:19:42Z2020-06-27T12:19:43ZTelling us what is included in a system upgrade

Thanks, dwg

I’m even more confused now: in an earlier exchange of emails, the person with whom I was corresponding under the email name dwg turned out to be called Derek someone.

Doesn’t matter. All I got to do now is work out why my iMac is not picking up this info. So, I’ll raise it again with Moneydance.

Thanks again

Your lack of info on the alert page is very odd, my MacBook showed the the same 2 line info about the update as shown by dwg on his Windows System.

Just a suggestion it may be something to do with your notifications setting, so have attached mine.

Maybe this will fix the issue.... probably not but at least it's a starting point.

Hopefully, this will now bring me into the 2020’s

I've just tested this on my Mac system that I use for testing, and I also was able to view the changelog in the update notice. I'll run this by our developers to see if they have any thoughts on why this would be happening to your system. What specific operating system are you using?

Thanks for the email. I’m on Apple’s Catalina 10.15.5 which I think is the current Mac opsys. I think Jeff has told me the error of my ways - “Notifications” is not anything I’d ever used before so I’ve switched them on and live in hope of knowing, in future, what I’m loading onto my Mac.

Thanks again

Have good weekend………….and keep well!
