Drop down lists, navigating the pages
These are not suggestions but needs. Using the rodent to navigate and select from drop down lists is inefficient and tedious. Not so long ago, the efficient and easy way to do so was to begin typing the word you wanted. That works in moneydance, but it's a disabled feature. If I type "Groc" I get to the top of the list of groceries categories, but I think have to switch to the mouse or keyboard navigation keys to move to within the subcategories. Bad karma, too many keystrokes, now I have to move to the mouse, YUK! Here's a suggestion: If I type a
":"followed by another letter, the cursor should move to the place on the list where that letter starts the first name of the subcategory. So "Groc:w" should move the cursor to highlight the category "Groceries:Wine." Saves multiple keystrokes and rodent movements.
FYI computer rodents are pests; we should get ride of them.

Rodents have no place in data entry! (They do serve other purposes)

Hi David,
In your example, "Groc:w". Have tried just starting to type Wine?

Yes. It doesn't work. W Takes you to the fist W in the list, Wine gets
all the categories with "wine" in the name. Not the answer.

This needs to be implemented also for the account list ( or whatever you
call the list on the left ). Also reminders.
