Tags are currently used as a filter mechanism in Income and Expense reports, so I believe you need to elaborate on how you need them to be used in such reports.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490575762021-02-26T06:11:03Z2021-02-26T06:11:04ZTags in Reports

As a column in the report.

As an example, I have several vehicles, some personal, some business. I have vehicle related categories and use tags for the specific vehicle. When reviewing annual reports for tax purposes, seeing the vehicle in the tag is a huge help in verifying the information I report to the IRS. Sometimes you see something that you've incorrectly categorized all year and need to go back and correct.

jeremytag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490575762021-02-26T06:16:54Z2021-02-26T06:16:54ZTags in Reports

+1 for me.

It would also be helpful to group and subtotal by tag in many reports.

I've noticed that MD seems to (generally) treat tags as incidental, whereas elsewhere and historically, I've considered them fundamental!

tgilbert666tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490575762021-02-26T06:27:55Z2021-02-26T06:27:55ZTags in Reports

I'm a fellow user.

The only way of handling that with vehicles and tags today with Income and Expense reports would be to have a separate report for each vehicle.

Otherwise you would have to breakdown categories further by using sub-categories.

The Transaction Filter report does show tags and does have the ability to subtotal by Category.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490575762021-02-26T06:44:57Z2021-02-26T06:44:57ZTags in Reports

Fyi - my extract_data extension available from my site extracts the tags properly, even on splits, and you can extract to csv and then load into excel - if it helps.. The specific option you want is extract account registers
