Edit single occurrence in a recurring transaction

I would like the ability to enter a different amount than is scheduled for a recurring reminder. I only want to update a single, not all going forward.

I do not want to enter it into register with a future date and different amount. I use my reminders as a "to do" list. If it is not there, I will probably miss paying it.

I have seen this suggestion many times over the years, but have never heard anything being resolved on it.

I doubt if it would be possible.

Reminders only have a single instance, there is not a reminder for each date. That single instance is just being scheduled for the next due date.

It would be up to support to ascertain if it is possible at all and then either log a request for the functionality or close out the query.

Why not create a new reminder with this specific amount and move the next occurrence of the original reminder one months out?

Creating a separate reminder is the only real way of doing this in Moneydance.

Otherwise you just have the existing reminder set for no auto posting and when it comes time, you post it with a different amount, thus leaving the reminder itself as it.
