It would be good to START
the split with a keystroke as well - such as Alt Cmd S, for
example. Also to simply continue pressing tab off the end of one
line and auto start a new line, instead of Cmd N.

Colin Tomlinsontag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/4345742009-10-08T20:43:18Z2009-10-08T20:43:18ZEnter or Return to Rinish or Close Split Transaction

Hi

I am in agreement with you both and I will bring up the issue
with the developer. In the mean time there is an existing ticket in
our issue tracking system. However it has not received very much
user support. Here is a link to the ticket:

If you register and log into trac you can vote on tickets. We
are now using those votes to help us prioritize suggestions.

If you press command-L (mac) ctrl-L (windows) when a transaction
is in edit mode the system will bring up the edit splits
window.

I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Sincerely

Hopefully Cmd/Ctrl L will be included in the new user
documentation - as well as how to register for Trac and post/vote
for tickets.

So glad the MD guys are so contactable/responsive.

Colin Tomlinson
